League1 BC statement: Victoria Highlanders
Victoria Highlanders revealed that they will not participate in the 2024 League1 BC season.
Vancouver, BC – (April 9, 2024) – Victoria Highlanders revealed on Monday, April 8 that they will not participate in the League1 BC Men’s and Women’s Divisions in 2024.
As a result of the club’s decision, the League1 Canada team is closely working with Canada Soccer, BC Soccer, and clubs on how to best move forward to elevate soccer not just in British Columbia, but across the country.
In the meantime, we would like to thank Brett and PJ Large, and the dedicated team at Victoria Highlanders for their support in local Pro-Am soccer since League1 BC’s inception.
