Ten-week broadcast schedule locked in
Plan your watch parties for the first 10 weeks of the new League1 BC season.

With League1 BC kicking off its 2025 season this week, we are taking a look at the games that will be livestreamed in the first 10 weeks of the campaign.
Season opener – April 4
Last season’s men’s champions TSS Rovers are hosting this year’s first livestreamed game, as they host Evolution on Friday, April 4 in Matchweek One.
With seven wins from 12 games last season and 30 goals scored, they laid down a marker as the team to beat in the Men’s Division. However, can the new boys on the block cause an opening day upset?
It is a double-header for these two teams in the Women’s Division too. The aim for the Rovers will be to build on last year’s playoff appearance and win the title. Evolution meanwhile are out to prove themselves in a new competition, and three points on the opening day will go some way to achieving that.
Point to prove – April 12
Kamloops United are aiming to build on last season’s sixth-place (Men’s Division) and seventh-place (Women’s Division) finishes this year, but with a new look after they underwent a rebrand from Rivers FC in the offseason. Their opening game of 2025 sees them face expansion side Langley United who are making their L1BC debut in Matchweek Two.
Kamloops won five games across the two League1 BC divisions last year combined, so they will want to put on a show in front of the cameras and kickstart a more successful season. You can read more about Langley’s aspirations in our recent article with the club’s Technical Director Mark Parker.
A big challenge – May 10
Another match to watch this year will be Burnaby hosting TSS Rovers. Despite finishing bottom of the Men’s Division in their inaugural League1 BC season, they still held their own in both fixtures against the eventual champions with a 0-0 draw at home and a narrow 2-1 defeat in the away game. Could this year be different?
It’s a slightly different story in the Women’s Division, with Burnaby finishing three points ahead of TSS Rovers in the regular-season standings and competing at Finals Day. The Rovers also made the playoffs by finishing fourth, and if last campaign is anything to go by, this could be a close encounter.
Rising high – May 17
Vancouver Rise Academy host their first livestreamed game in Matchweek Seven against Altitude. The latter were one of the few teams to hold the multi-champions last season; they managed a 1-1 tie straight after a 10-2 defeat in back-to-back games against the then-Whitecaps Academy.
In the Men’s Division, Altitude and Whitecaps Academy were the second and third-placed teams in the 2024 standings. They were hard to split in the regular season, tying 1-1 twice in three days, but Altitude had the last laugh with a 3-1 postseason victory that booked their spot at Finals Day.
