Whitecaps FC Girls Elite are in action this Sunday having already won the Women’s Division regular-season title. They would take their number of wins into double figures with victory against Burnaby FC on Sunday, but Burnaby have a home playoff semifinal to fight for.

It’s a very different story in the Men’s Division, with Whitecaps FC Academy the team aiming to secure a home semifinal having confirmed their postseason spot. It’s unlikely they will win the regular-season title now with TSS Rovers FC in pole position.

Burnaby need victory from their last two matches of the campaign if they are to avoid finishing bottom of the standings. Their previous encounter with Whitecaps in the Men’s Division delivered six goals, so this could be a very exciting watch.

Rivers meet Rovers

With the Women’s Division playoff contenders locked in, TSS Rovers will be aiming to build some momentum before the postseason. After getting points from four of their last five matches to confirm their playoff spot, their quest continues in Kamloops as they face Rivers FC.

It’s a big weekend for TSS Rovers’ men’s team as they will guarantee finishing first in the Men’s Division with victory at Rivers. They are three points ahead of Altitude FC and another win would give them an unassailable cushion at the top of the standings.

These sides last met at the end of June and Rovers ran riot in the Men’s Division, winning 5-1, but it was much closer in the Women’s Division with TSS edging out a 1-0 victory.
