Weekend Preview: Unity and Burnaby looking up the table
Unity face Burnaby in the Women’s Division in our Match of the Week stream on Saturday.

A clash at the top
It is first versus second in the Men’s Division when TSS Rovers travel to Langley United. The current defending champions have put themselves in a good position to make it two titles in a row, sitting top with six wins from eight. Their opponents are only one point behind them, though, and can leapfrog into first place with a win.
Elsewhere, third-placed Burnaby are on the road for their game against Unity. The visitors are just outside of the top two on 16 points, while Unity are fifth and a win could propel them into the top four. This one is live on the League1 BC YouTube channel.
Fourth-placed Kamloops United are also in action when they host Vancouver Whitecaps Academy. The home side are three points away from third, and a positive result this weekend would certainly put them back in the hunt for the top spots.
Further down the standings, Nanaimo United host Altitude in a bid to claim their first win of 2025. The home side have two points so far, so they need a win this Saturday if they are to pick up form and climb up the standings.
Another gr-eight weekend?
Altitude have the opportunity to make it eight wins from eight this weekend and extend their gap at the top of the standings. They are on the road against a Nanaimo side who have struggled to find consistent form in 2025, with two wins, four ties, and two losses so far. Their results were starting to improve, but they need to bounce back from last week’s defeat.
Behind them, Unity can make it two consecutive wins when they face Burnaby. The Surrey side were defeated for the first time this season two weeks ago, but with a huge 9-3 victory last week against Kamloops, they recovered to show Altitude that they are not going anywhere just yet. Burnaby sit second from bottom, so they need their third win of the season this weekend.
Last year’s champions, Vancouver Rise Academy, need maximum points against bottom side Kamloops if they are to have any hope of defending their title. They are two points away from second at this stage but have played two extra games than those above them.
TSS Rovers can put pressure on Vancouver and put themselves into the top-three race with a good result in Langley. The visitors are four matches unbeaten, while the home side have three defeats in a row and are without a win since Matchweek Two. There’s plenty to play for.
