Weekly Rewind: A New Leader Emerges
Matchweek 10 saw the lead change hands at the top of the Men’s Division, as Altitude made it a perfect eight in the Women’s Division.

Rock solid
It was a day of clean sheets in the Men’s Division as a new leader emerged at the top.
Langley United leapfrogged TSS Rovers into first place on Friday, beating their opponents 3-0 to go two points clear. Matheus Lucas opened the scoring in first-half stoppage time, before a Bridy Thomas brace secured the points to put Langley in pole position.
Behind them, Burnaby remained in third with a 2-0 away victory at Unity. The visitors remained just short of the top two battle before the matchweek, but goals from Kyle Dent and Lachlan MacGowan moved them level with TSS on 19 points. Unity’s inconsistent season continued, as they sit sixth with three wins from eight.
Kamloops missed out on the opportunity to put pressure on the top three when they were beaten 2-0 at home to Vancouver Whitecaps Academy. They remained in fourth after Friday’s fixtures, while their opponents moved above Evolution into seventh thanks to Mattero Samori and an own goal from Riad Jaha.
Altitude also enjoyed a winning weekend, beating Nanaimo United 2-0 away from home. A 77th-minute finish from Carson Buschman-Dormand was followed up by Tyreese Meas’ goal deep in injury time to move Altitude into fifth, and condemn Nanaimo to their seventh loss of 2025.
Seventh heaven, and eight is great
Altitude showed no signs of slowing down at the summit of the Women’s Division, continuing their perfect start.
A 3-0 win took the leaders onto 24 points, making it eight wins from all eight of their matches so far in 2025. Zoelle Apps opened the scoring early in the second half, before Alix Boogemans and Cassidy Anderson secured the points for the runaway table-toppers.
Elsewhere, it was a perfect Friday for the defending champions as Vancouver Rise Academy won 7-0 at Kamloops. Seven different scorers ensured maximum points, with Bianca Patik, Racquel Partovi, Quinn Johnson, Zahra Bains, Bridget Mutipula, Myla Ewasiuk, and Brooklyn Boldt all chipping in with the goals to move their side above Unity and into second place.
Unity had spent all of the season in second, but a 1-1 tie and two dropped points at Burnaby meant they slipped down to third. They do still have two games in hand on Vancouver above them, though, so they will need to bounce back with a win in their next game. Their opponents are Altitude.
Tying up the matchweek, TSS Rovers claimed their third away win of the year, and their fifth overall this season, as they defeated Langley 3-0. Claire Ye made it 1-0 on the stroke of half-time, before Erin Bhandal scored a brace in the 84th minute and during injury time.
